Avoid Seeking Instructions in Court

When the Bench raises a query, you should already have the information needed to respond. Turning back to seek instructions can create the impression that you are not fully prepared.

Longer Submissions Require Advance Planning

If you anticipate needing more time for submissions, write to the Court in advance and seek leave for the matter to be assigned to a side Court. Clearly indicate the estimated duration required for your submissions so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
