A Tip for Students:
“Make yourself visible through meaningful contributions, not just applications. Early in my career, I realised that qualifications alone rarely distinguish you. I focused on building expertise, publishing articles, engaging with the profession, seeking mentors, and taking opportunities that stretched my skills.
Those activities helped me develop a professional reputation, and many of the opportunities I’ve received, including speaking engagements, teaching opportunities, and specialist work, have come from demonstrating value consistently over time rather than simply applying for positions.
My advice is to invest in becoming known for something and let your work speak for you”
