“Nothing beats luck. But don’t leave your interest unspoken.”
Two takeaways I’m carrying with me from HKIAC’s fireside chat with Robert S. Pe:
1. Nothing beats luck.
2. If you’re interested in doing something, tell the person already doing it. Don’t assume they know, start the conversation.
A reminder to stay open to opportunity—and have the courage to put your hand up.
Great chatting with Robert S Pe, Valeri Li, Janice Li, Felicity Ng, Angelica W.Y. Tong and wonderful to see Michelle Cheung and Joanne Lau again.
And a little sartorial coincidence: Robert and I both wore grey suits, blue shirts and navy ties. Nothing beats luck, even when coordinating outfits!
